From LA: The Adam James Quartet

With his bachelor of music degree in jazz studies, Adam James
was ready when Frank Sinatra’s family invited him to play the role
of the iconic crooner in the first musical honoring Frank’s legacy in
1999. Adam then shared the stages of Ray Charles, Tony Bennett
and Liza Minnelli all while he was living in Montreal. Following
numerous jazz festival appearances with his trio, Panache, and with
New York calling, Adam studied jazz singing with legend Mark
Murphy and performed in one of the longest-running off-Broadway
shows of all time, Our Sinatra. National tours and symphony pops
shows took him to California where he made his home in the
Hollywood Hills, spending his time and creative energies
performing, co-writing, and co-producing music for The Olympics,
TV and films.
In 2020 Adam disrupted the singing telegram business by
producing personalized songs as music videos known as
Singstagram.
Currently based in Los Angeles, Adam is also a keynote speaker VO
artist and playshop facilitator who inspires audiences by asking
life-shifting questions they’ve never been asked before. Envision
Festival in Costa Rica invited Adam to create the live mashup show
Psychedelic Singalong, which he now performs annually at many
transformational festivals including Burning Man, Lightning In A
Bottle and Electric Forest.
Adam has coached and advised companies, CEOs, artists, and
entrepreneurs. His message as a tantric yogi and songwriter is
heartfelt, inspiring, and provocative. His controversial version of
fellow Canadian icon Leonard Cohen’s anthem, Hallelujah is
featured on Spotify and Apple Music.
